When you create an account and use the wtcommunity.org platform, we collect the following information:

Name — your full name as provided during registration.
Email address — used for account access and communication.
Apartment number — used to verify residency within the building.
Phone number (optional) — provided voluntarily for contact purposes.
Google account information — we use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password. This data is used solely to create and manage your wtcommunity.org account.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To verify your residency at Walden Terrace.
To enable community features such as the resident directory, discussions, messaging, and package tracking.
To enable governance participation, including shareholder verification, voting, elections, and proxy collection.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not share your data with building management or AKAM.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored securely. Access to personal information is limited to verified residents and platform administrators. Sensitive data, such as shareholder share counts, is encrypted and never displayed to other users.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, contact us at admin@wtcommunity.org.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. AuditEvent records are anonymized but retained for platform integrity purposes.

6. Google OAuth Authentication

We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password. This data is used solely to create and manage your wtcommunity.org account. You may revoke the platform's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.
